How often and how long are lessons?

Our lessons are based on a monthly membership which gets you a minimum of 4 x 30 minute flexible lessons with hassle free make-up classes if you need to miss one.

Do you offer free make up lessons?

Yes, we allow up to 10 make-up lessons per year. A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to guarantee a make-up token for an excused absence. Make-up classes may only be booked a maximum of 7 days in advance. Same day bookings are fine too!  Make-up tokens are valid for 45 days, expire with termination of your membership, and are non-transferable and non-refundable. 

No makeup tokens will be provided for classes missed without notice.

How many weeks are your lessons/sessions?

Our lessons are continuous and not based on seasonal sessions. This means your lessons will continue weekly until you choose to leave. Students will continue to learn new skills and build confidence as they graduate through our levels!

What are your group sizes for lessons?

We will have a max of 4:1 student to instructor ratio for lessons. Note: for Tiny Swimmer (with parent) we will go up to a max 5:1 ratio.

What to bring with you for lessons?

If this is your first lesson with us at The Swim Space this will help you plan your visit:

What you need to bring: Bathing suit, towel, goggles, pool deck footwear (flip flops, crocs, etc.) and a brush. (Tiny swimmers who aren’t potty trained will need to wear a “Happy Nappy” reusable swim diaper as well as a disposable diaper underneath. One Happy Nappy is provided for free with any new Tiny Swimmer registrations!)

We have 8 fully private changing rooms, baby changing stations, swimsuit dryer, and hair drying station onsite. We also have swim shirts, goggles, and reusable swim diapers (Happy Nappy) available for purchase in our shop!

Do you offer private lessons?

We are not currently offering 1-1 private lessons. Our small group lessons are a great option for swimmers looking for a semi-private experience!

What is your cancellation policy?

To cancel an individual lesson call, email, or cancel online on our Booking Portal. You can schedule a make-up lesson to ensure your child doesn’t miss out!

To cancel your membership please email us with 30 days notice of cancellation.

What if my child is less/more advanced than others in their class?

Our instructors are trained to pick up on student competencies and confidence very quickly. They understand the skills and ability that each student needs to have to participate successfully in their level.

Our team understands that every child learns in their own ways and at their own pace, which is why our instructors are flexible and adjust their lessons as needed based on their observations. We are constantly evaluating our students and providing meaningful feedback for the parents.

Do I need to stay onsite during lessons?

Yes, we require parents to stay onsite during their child’s lesson if they are under 12 years old. If parents need to leave for any reason we will need to remove your child from the lesson.

Is food allowed onsite?

We ask that you don’t bring food to the space. We want to provide the cleanest possible experience for everyone and also be careful of any allergies! Snacks for kids are ok in designated areas.

What if I join in the middle of the month?

No worries! Our memberships are prorated so you will only be charged for the proper amount based on when you join.

How does the billing process work?

Our membership rates are billed monthly on a specific day. Once you set up your profile in our portal on iClassPro you will link a credit card for billing purposes.
